The Company:
The company was established in 1951 on the bank of Chao Phraya river. Initially, soft drinks, beer and whisky constituted the bulk of our business operation. These were gradually expanded to cover the emerging needs in other segments.

In 1991, a second plant was built in Bangplee, Samut Prakan, in response to the rapid market expansion. With a total capacity of over 2,000 tons a day for both plants, we are the sole major supplier of glass containers in Thailand. Moreover, our wide range of designs to suite customer product requirements means that we are fully equipped to support segments as varied as beer, whisky, wine, water, soda, soft drinks, energy drinks, electrolyte, food and pharmaceutical. Our products are sold through our parent company, Berli Jucker Public Company Limited.

Technology Support:
The company receives full technical support from Australian Consolidated Industries (ACI) and Owens-Brockway Illinois (OI), both of whom are leaders in glass manufacturing in Australia and the United States of America.

Quality:
In September 2000, the company was certified by ISO 9002 (BS EN ISO 9002 : 1994) certification from Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). This was followed in June 2002 by ISO 9001 : 2000 (BS EN ISO 9001 : 2000) certification.

Social Responsibility:
TGI is contributing to and participating in the community, honoring social values and employing good work practices. As a responsible corporate citizen that cares for the nature, we have broken glass and scraps known as "cullet" recycled into new products. By virtue of this approach, we help reducing consumption of natural resources by more than 300,000 tons a year, hence lessening the burden on the environment.

Today, TGI, marked by its constant drive to be the best in the business and the concern for the environment, is the leader amongst glass manufacturers in the Southeast Asian Region.
